Terms of Service

Between you and Amastran NET, operated by Ahmed Mahmood ("we"). By installing or using the app you accept these terms and the licence agreement.

1. Licence. We grant you a personal, non-exclusive, non-transferable licence to use PaperStyle on one computer at a time while you have an active trial or subscription. Details are in the licence agreement.
2. Trial. Each person gets one free 14-day trial of all features, with no card needed. The first time you open PaperStyle it asks for your email address and mails you a code, and the trial starts when you type the code. It ends at the end of the 14th day (UTC). The same email address cannot start a second free trial on another computer, and installing again or reinstalling does not start another trial. People who already used PaperStyle confirm their email once after version 1.0.6. We never send news or offers.
3. Subscription and payment. Plans are monthly or yearly and renew automatically until cancelled. You buy on Whop, which processes the payment under its own terms. Taxes are added where the payment provider requires them.
4. Cancelling. Cancel any time from your Whop account. Access continues until the end of the paid period. See the refund policy.
5. If a subscription ends. The app becomes read-only: you can still open and read every notebook, but you cannot change them until you subscribe or activate again. Your notebooks are never deleted or changed, and any backups or Notebooks folder you saved stay where they are.
6. Moving computers. You can move the licence to another computer by activating there with your purchase email. A subscription works on one computer at a time, and the previous computer becomes read-only the next time it is online. To prevent sharing, you can move it yourself at most 2 times in any 30 days; for more, email info@amastran.net. If you have several subscriptions on one email address, each works on its own computer.
7. Working offline. The app works without internet for up to 32 days between licence checks. After that, connect to the internet once and it carries on. While the app is open and online it re-checks about every 5 minutes (and when you come back to the window), so a refund, cancellation or move away takes effect within minutes of being online.
8. Your content. Your notebooks are yours. We do not access, copy or claim any right in them.
9. Acceptable use. PaperStyle is the private property of Amastran NET. Do not copy it or its files, decompile or reverse-engineer it (except as the law allows), re-create it, or use it or its files to build a similar product. This includes doing any of these with AI tools. Do not resell it, share your licence beyond one computer at a time, or interfere with the licensing service.
10. No warranty; liability. PaperStyle is provided "as is". Keep your own backups. To the extent the law allows, our liability is limited to the amount you paid in the 12 months before the claim. Consumer rights that cannot be limited are not affected.
11. Governing law. The laws of Pakistan apply. Please write to us first at info@amastran.net so we can try to sort any problem out together; if we cannot, the courts of Pakistan decide. This does not remove any consumer rights you have under the law where you live.
