Privacy Policy

My Health Fellow is a mobile app for Android and iOS, developed by Amastran NET, that helps people keep their personal medical records in one place. The app is still in development and has not been publicly released. This policy explains how we will handle information, and we will update it with further detail before the app is released.

Information the app handles. The app is designed to hold health and medical information that you choose to enter or add yourself. This is sensitive personal information, and we treat it that way. We only handle the information you provide to the app, and only so the app can work for you.

How information is used. Your information is used only to provide the features of the app to you. We do not use it for advertising, we do not sell it or share it with third parties or data brokers, we do not use it for credit or insurance decisions, and we do not use it to train generalized AI or machine learning models. We share information only if you ask us to, or if the law requires it.

Google user data. If the app offers an option to sign in with Google or to back up data to your Google account, it will request only the minimum access needed for that feature, and will use that access only to provide the feature to you. My Health Fellow's use and transfer of information received from Google APIs to any other app will adhere to the Google API Services User Data Policy, including the Limited Use requirements.

Data retention and deletion. Your records are kept for as long as you choose to keep them. You can delete individual records or your entire account data from within the app, and you can also ask us to delete your data at any time by emailing info@amastran.net. If you disconnect Google access, the app can no longer reach anything stored in your Google account.

Security. We use reasonable technical and organizational safeguards to protect your information, including secure connections when data is transmitted. No method of storage or transmission is completely secure, so we cannot guarantee absolute security, and your information is also protected by the security of your own device and accounts.

Children's privacy. My Health Fellow is not directed to children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from children.

Changes to this policy. We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time, including to add detail as the app is completed. Any changes will be reflected by updating the "Last updated" date above.
